I mainly use the communicative approach, which does not mean that the process of learning is focused only on
conversation. All the 4 abilities are important: listening, speaking, reading, writing.
This method is based on the use in class of the target language (Italian) in a pleasent and relaxed atmosphere so the
student feels totally free to speak Italian and to experiment with the language from the very beginning. The language is the real language of everyday communication and the student
has an active role in the process of learning.
Beside the language, the focus is on Italian culture as well, since I bring in class authentic didactic materials
(such as songs, movies, news articles, etc.).
